Janet Yachoua – Deacon Chair
Hi, my name is Janet Yachoua and I hail from the UK. I have lived in Wiesbaden for over forty years and have been a member of Immanuel for over thirty of those. I am a wife, mother to three adult sons and teach languages at the Danielschule, the Christian school in Wiesbaden.
Klaus Schoppa
I have lived in Venezuela for 14 years. This is the reason why I particularly love IBC. With people coming from so many different countries, the feeling within IBC is very international. Since late 2021 I have been attending IBC together with my wife and daughter. Besides being Deacon since 2025, I’m also part of the Tech Team, which has been really fun being part of.
Mark Cooper
God brought me to Wiesbaden in 2016 and I became part of the IBC family. IBC Launched me into full time ministry in 2017 sending me to Bogota, Colombia as a Missionary. The U.S. Dept of State brought me back to the U.S. in 2020 because of the COVID Pandemic and now I’m excited to be back here working as a Bi-Vocational Missionary and serving you as a Deacon here with my IBC family.
Julie Boit Hodeen
I was born in Wisconsin, USA and our family came to Germany in 2021 because of a job opportunity for my husband at the US Army Corps of Engineers. I retired from the U.S. Air Force earlier in 2021, after serving on active duty for 30 years. We’ve been at IBC since Dec 2021. I’ve truly enjoyed being part of the Welcome Ministry and was honored to be ordained as a Deacon in Mar 2023. In addition to serving at IBC, I’m a full-time wife, Mom, and trip planner
Michel Guzman
I am from Mexico and have lived in Wiesbaden since 2016 with my beloved wife and children. We joined IBC in 2018 and serve in different ministries like the Spanish life group, the Children’s Ministry and Men´s ministry. IBC is like our big family in Germany, here we have found good friends and a way to serve the Lord with strength and humility, peace and joy, love and grace, and this list could grow!
Carla Pierson
I came to Germany from the US in 2015 and have been at IBC since 2017. I have served in various ministries and am currently involved in the Prayer Ministry, Praise and Worship team, and Welcome Ministry. To be a part of a church is to serve. As the leader of the Prayer Ministry, I experienced the joy of joining with my fellow brothers and sisters in Christ in prayer and watching the Lord move in mighty ways!
Noah Rider
Hello. I’m so excited to serve the Lord by being a deacon at IBC. My wife is from the Wiesbaden area so that is the reason I came to Germany in 2019. Originally I’m from Indiana in the States where my family lives. I look forward to connecting with you on a Sunday at IBC!
